Maria took my poetry class two years ago and was just a warm, kind-hearted, talented, and fun-loving young woman. It makes me very sad to hear she is gone.
Her family will need our prayers and thoughts and my heart goes out to them.
Just want to share this news, students, and remind you to please be safe out there in life and on the roads.

I grew up with her brother Dominic and knew her. We went to elementary school together. The Dublin community has lost another great person. This year has been rough for us. My heart goes out to Dom and his family.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this with us. I grew up watching her dad do the sports. It's funny when you move away for 20 years, then come back and hear those old familiar names again. My heart goes out to her family and anyone who knew her.
