The reading for me was a little hard. It was hard for me to get into the book. It was also slow for me in the beginning. I feel like ounce we keep reading though I will began to like the book a little more.I thought that it was interesting that Tom murdered somone but yet he's still a good guy

 One of the interesting things about the Depression that I learned was that People who lost their homes lived in places called "Hoovervilles," or shanty towns. They were named after President Hervert Hoover. I also learned that there were also "Hoover Stew" which was food that was given out in soup kitchens.
