Scott C. Timmes

Scott Timmes was born on June 26, 1973 and unfortunately died on September 11, 2001. Scott was the commodities customer service clerk on the 92nd floor working for Carr Futures, a global futures trading firm. He was planning on trying to move up the "corporate ladder" and make a name for himself. Scott enjoyed bowling in his free time and watching Major League Baseball, especially the Mets. He liked to sing and dance, too-- he mostly listened to the oldies. He resided in Ridgewood, New York with his wife and daughter. His daughter, Sydney, was only 14 months- old when Scott passed away. Scott loved his daughter and adored her. It is very heartbreaking that he couldn't be there to watch her grow up. Scott, in certain ways, reminds me of my own father. My father also listens to the oldies and always sings along. Scott and my father also both like watching sports on TV and are very family oriented. Scott was an overall happy man who was very close to his family.

  1. It is such a shame to see the family that he left behind. He sounds like a very determined man and is very young. Thinking about the families that these people is the saddest thing for me. I do not know why but that is the first thing I think of when I hear tragic stories including this one.

  2. Losing a family member is rough. Not being able to see your kids grow up or having the kid grow up without a parent is depressing. Its sad that families have to deal with that
