1.) I think I learn best through lecture and group discussion. I think the time I really learned the best was my freshman year I had this amazing teacher Mr. Flory, he was so knowledgable. He predominetley taught us by having a certain topic that pertained to what we were learning and had group debate about the subject, while he mediated the debate. Hearing other peoples views on a subject makes you analyze what you think to be true and really makes you question and come to a better understanding. The time where you learn the best is when you don't feel like you're learning at all and I found that is when you truly learn something that stays with you forever.

2.) I think the purpose of an education is to make you a better person. My parents say we are nothing in this world without knowledge. I feel without education we can not connect with people on a personal and intellectual level beause we are just stuck in our ignorance. Honestly without education the world would be a terrible and boring place. No debate or discussion or differing opinion just people living day to day with no higher purpose in life.

3.) Education is vital for the future. I want to become a doctor so I have a long road ahead. I geuss i'm optimistic and skeptical at the same time, because I can't wait to pursue my future career goals. But I hope that this endeavor will not  keep me from hopefully one day having a husband and a family, because it is just as important to me as my career. Another fear I have is if I waste my youth grinding away in years and years of schooling and never actaully get to live and do some of the things that i want to do.
