Im not the worlds greatest learner but i have a few things that help me learn. When the entire class is involved and its like a big discussion it really prompts me to learn and think of the material we are really talking about. A time when i really learned the best was in my senior English class in High School we would talk about a topic that we were learning, it would follow with a paper in which he showed us many examples and then we would as a class think of ways to make the writing better. Some of the papers we went over were those from our class that students wanted critiquing on.
The purpose of education i think is to learn about the past and what we will need to know to help grow our society as a whole in the future. Being able to communicate you cant do without having a understanding of reading and writing. We need to learn about the past events because it can give us a great understanding on why our culture and society is the way that it is today.
Education means a lot to my future because without it i wont know how to do my job that i want to do. I want to be a Nuclear Medicine Engineer and without the math and communication education i will not be able to have the career that i want to have. I am both skeptical and optimistic about my future cause nothing is fully guaranteed like what is going to happen in the future its not 100% set in stone.
Good luck in your adventure to become a Nuclear Medicine Engineer! Sounds challenging, but I know you are up for it! When I was in the Navy, we had to do physical training, and I have always HATED running. In the beginning of my career, I didn't do so well. I would try, but if I got too tired, I would walk. Eventually I made it to the finish line, but sometimes it was with a failing score. One day while running, I wanted to walk....but a voice in my head said "just keep running". I pushed myself to finish without walking, and I passed. I have never let myself walk again when I should be running. You can do it, just keep learning.
