Exploration Three

The best way to learn is by experiencing different things. To actually see different kinds of people or different ways of life. Or to experience an event. Like someone dying, someone being born, helping someone, doing something important. I learned something when I volunteered at a soup kitchen. I saw people who needed help and it made me sad. It made me want to help other people more often, because seeing other people struggle is heartbreaking.

I think the purpose of getting an education is to be able to better yourself in the future. I mean, now its hard to get a good job without a college education. Also, I want to know things. I want to be smart. So I can talk about and understand more complex subjects. So one day, my kids can look up to me and want to better themselves as well.

An education means everything to my future. My education is first in my life right now. My future is depending on my education. I am optimistic about my path because I have a good plan. I know what I need to do. If my original plan doesn't work out, I have a few back up ideas ready.
