Albert Conde

Albert was an insurance underwriter.  He worked in the field that I want to peruse one day. He was an avid golfer and was looking forward to his retirement.  He did not even work in the trade centers.  He worked in another building in the area.  He was visiting another insurance broker that day.  His wife did not know he was there.  She was relieved that she did not have to worry about her husband but then received a call later that changed her life.  Albert's daughter was getting married and his son had just graduated from graduates school.  He built a great life for himself he had it all.  It is truly sad that such a terrible event took so many good people from this world and Albert was among the fallen.

  1. Albert Conde looked like a great man! He was a successful business man and loving father and husband. Its a shame that someone as great as him had to pass in such a tragedy. The community and his family probably miss him a lot and I bet he was a great person.

  2. That's a very sad story. To know that first of all he could have been retired, but continued to work. Second that he didn't even work there. And third that his wife wasn't even expecting anything to have happened to him because he didn't even work there. Many people were worried because they knew their loved one worked there. But I bet it was really shocking to her because he didn't even work there.

  3. This is a tragic story, the fact that this was the only day he would have been in the towers is sad. It is even worse how he would miss his daughter wedding and seeing his son off to college. I think it just makes it even more real that you can draw a connection to this man, aiming to be an insurance underwriter. He probably thought that he would have a safe and secure job, but this event proves that life can be so uncertian.
