Always smiling, warm, and kind are the words that best describe Craig Amundson. Craig was a graphic artist assigned to the pentagon by the army. In high school he played football and was very active in media/films activities. He went on to pursue his interest in college earning a bachelor of arts in Film studies. He even owned his own graphic design company. Sadly, Craig left behind his wife a two children and did not get an opportunity to become a school teacher. One of the things that stands out to me is how a smile can have a profound impact on your and somebody else's life. More than one person that knew him remembered his smile and I am sure a lot more also remembered. This a good lesson that can be apply to our lives. Furthermore, it is heart breaking to see the amount of physical and emotional damage that this tragedy caused. A lot of lives were cut short and family members were ripped away from were they belonged by the attack.

My father was in the military so I can connect with this mans story. The life of a military family is stressful and full of worry. It is a tragedy that he lost his life serving the United States on US soil. This should never be allowed to happen again.
ReplyDeleteit's sad to hear that a man in the army, serving his country, was killed, not overseas, but right here at home where he thought he was safe.
