I learn best when I am interested in the topic that is set in front of me. I remember doing very well in my psychology class in high school because I thought it was an interesting topic. I liked the idea that we can track brain activity and locate the different parts of the brain that take care of of certain actions.
The purpose of getting an education is to open your mind up to new ideas and gain enough knowledge to pursue the career you want. For some people the education needed to carry out their lifestyle is minimal and there is nothing wrong with that. However, gaining a good education can help you gain the experience and credibility that employers want to see. Getting your education is crucial to planning your future.
Education has a major impact on your future because many times it determines the lifestyle you will live. To me a good education is crucial to my future, because going into a business world with no credibility is like competing in a football game without a helmet. A solid education is needed for almost any field of study and for me I have a plan. I am optimist for my future because I feel like I know what i want to do but there is always that underlying feeling of uncertainty. I am interested in many fields of study, and choosing business marketing took me a while to decide. However, I am pretty sure what i want to do and I'm excited and optimistic for my future.
I am the same way, I learn so much better when it's something I am actually interested in. Like history, for example, I am not to concerned with the subject therefore I'm not going to be a good active learner, I only took the class because I had to.
