Abdul Salam Mallahi, worked at the Marriott Hotel in the world trade center.  He was originally born in Yemen and described as a kind hearted honest worker. He was one of the 28 muslims who died on the day of the attack on the world trade center. That day Mallahi walked into work like any other day not expecting one of the worst ordeals in human history. Countless people owe there escape that day to Mallahi who helped them escape the attack. Unfourtunatly he himself could not escape and meet his demise that day. I would say that Mallahi is a beacon in the muslim community and represents and honors his religion as a true hero.

  1. I find it amazing how Abdul put his life in danger to save others. It is so amazing that he was willing to lose his life to save someone else's life.

  3. I love hearing about stories like this. It is a good example of why a population should not be judged due to the sick act committed by a few members of it. After the attack, muslims were treated like are evil monsters. Abdul Mallahi's story shows that Muslims clearly aren't evil because Abdul, a Muslim, put his life in a dangerous position to save a numerous amount of other people.

  4. Its nice to see people not talk bad about other race for a chance. People even today blame Muslims all over the world that they caused 9-11, but it wasn't. There was a terriost group that happened to be Muslim that did that. I'm glad to hear people starting to talk better about Muslims a little after that day.
