I liked how you told us what you would be talking about before you even started the presentation. I thought that was a good idea and also how you ended with what you talked about. I also liked the video, that was very interesting to see that. Maybe next time just go in a little deeper on how many banks and stores they robbed. But the presentation was good and very clear.
ReplyDeleteI really learned a lot from your presentation and I enjoyed it. I really liked that your powerpoint just had mainly pictures and you guys were giving all the information. Thats how a presentation should be. Just a little knit picking but maybe look around a litle more but other than that great job! I liked your presentation.
ReplyDeleteI think you guys did really well. I liked how you two took time to focus on each one of them separately so that we could see their background. Then I liked how you guys tied them together and went into everything they did together. It's not easy to be able to get up in front of people and talk, but my only suggestion would be to have given a little more eye contact. I know that makes a presentation even better! But you guys still did a good job!
ReplyDeleteThe flow of your presentation was great. You started with them individually and tied them together that was a great plan. The video in my opinion did not really add much there was not much talking and description. But besides that I really enjoyed hearing you talk.
ReplyDeleteI learned a lot from your presentation because I didn't know anything about Bonnie and Clyde. Your presentation was very specific and informative. It was crazy that the duo killed 14 police officers without getting caught! The one weak point to the presentation was the video. It was hard to understand and didnt add too much info but the rest of the presentation was very good.
ReplyDeletei thought you had a good order to your presentation and it seemed that everything was well thought out before hand. i also liked how you gave us some background information on the two before they had even met each other. i think the video was a little hard to understand perhaps because it was old, but besides that the rest of the power point was very attractive.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea who these two people were so I learned quite a bit from the presentation. I liked their stories and how you two explained that it went against the norms in society. One thing that would of been better was if you two explained what was going on in the video. I was kind of lost.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed all the pictures that you included in the presentation. I also like that you didn't have all your information on the slides. I didn't realize how much Bonnie and Clyde had an impact on the police and making them look bad. One thing you could consider during your presentation is reading less off the notecards. Other than that, it was very good.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know anything about these two people besides the fact that they were bank robbers. you had a lot of good information. I never knew why they did it but now knowing that they kinda did it to prove somewhat of a point was very interesting. one thing I would work on is to not read from the note cards and slides as much but other then that your presentation was good.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea who this two people where until you guys did your project on them. Bonnie and Clyde are two crazy bad ass people i think; what they did and how they did it made me speech less. Your video on them was great and you guys definitely told us a lot about them. Maybe if you guys went depth in saying the numbers and where and how they did their crime and got away with it would helped, but you guys did good overall.

I also like how you kept the presentation organized by telling us what you were going to talk about, telling us the info, and summarizing the main topics. One thing that I think you could have improved on would be if you gave some more info for each persons personal life.
ReplyDeleteGreat teamwork between the two of you about dividing the desperate duo Bonnie and Clyde. Did great overall I would just suggest avoid using the words "uhhh" and "like"

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your presentation. I earned a lot about bonnie and clyde. The only thing i would have changed is maybe focus more on the relationship aspect and the trouble they did together. But other than that great job :)
ReplyDeleteI've known about Bonnie & Clyde my whole life, but only that they were a couple that went on a spree of bank robberies a long time ago. Learning their individual histories before they met was quite interesting! Great facts throughout their entire lives, all the way to the end. The only thing I didn't get, and may have missed, was how they met. Overall, very good presentation!

Great information about Bonnie and Clyde and learned some new things that i didn't know about them. Presentation was good and the video that you showed was also good. Nothing much that i would change.
ReplyDeleteThe video was a nice touch. I liked how you guys implemented the Powerpoint visually in place of several written facts. As far as your speaking went, I liked how you organized the speech with a half-half cut - but you still worked together on the same information. If I could recommend any changes to improve your speech, it would be less reading and more speaking. It's okay to get flustered, and a good way to deal with that natural occurrence is to prepare, prepare, prepare. Speaking is by nature a fluent fight, you've got to be on your feet. It helped me, being the person who likes to keep his ducks in a row, to speak with lots of preparation. That's what a good speech really boils down to. Overall, I enjoyed the speech and I was really sold on how Bonny and Clyde's childhood affected their bank spree, and how that hit the era.
ReplyDeleteLike some other people, I have known about Bonnie and Clyde for a long time. I just thought that they were a couple who committed a lot of bank robberies. I like learning about that kind of stuff. The video was really cool.
