"Granma's dead" "hadda get acrost"

"Ma raised her eyes and looked over the valley "Granma's dead.""This is the most important part of the chapter because after everything all the hardship and struggle to get to the vally and granma didn't even make it. Ma didn't want to tell anyone because they most likely wouldn't have made it through the checkpoint. To me that shows a lot of toughness from Ma because most people wouldn't be able to lay next to a dead person all night, I know I probably couldn't do that. This part is the most important part to me because it shows the struggle they face day in and day out. Everyday is a struggle to survive and thats evident because they've already lost two people and they had to leave the Wilson's behind. The second most important part of this chapter to me was when they left the Wilson's behind. This is important to me because they've been together since the beginning but now comes the time when they need to spilt to survive. Even though both sides don't want to spilt they know its for they best even though they know they'll probably never see eachother again. They needed to spilt to survive and you have to respect that. The difference between knowledge and wisdom is that you learn knowledge. As in someone teaches you it and wisdom comes from yourself, you learn from your own experrience. Like in old movies they differ to the old man who had lived there lives and experienced a lot of things. They have wisdom because they have experienced a lot and they might have been in a similar situation so they can use their experience to give advice. You find wisdom by experience to me the only way to gain wisdom is to live life. This might sound stupid but you have to have fun, you have to make mistakes, and you just have to just live. To me thats how you gain wisdom through your own mistakes and learning from them. Wisdom cannot be taught but it can be learned and you learn it from yourself and nobody else. People can give you wisdom but ulimately how you use that is how you define yourself. Everyone has different wisdom because everyone is different and thats perfectluy fine. You gain knowledge through schooling but you gain wisdom from yourself and your experiences.

  1. I like your thoughts on wisdom and how it is mainly by your own experiences and actions. I feel like its the most impacting way to learn and gain insight into different situations.

  2. I agree with your difference between wisdom and knowledge, you have to live through the situations yourself and have that wisdom to later pass on to someone else in the future
