exploration 8

2.  I think that the future will not be good for the Joad family, they are broken up now. Since Al got married i think he will want to leave the rest of the group and raise his child somewhere else. I do not think that Tom will make it much longer trying to lead the people. He will probably get in a situation like casy was in and will be killed once he starts making progress and getting people organized. With the men gone I don't think that the Joads that are left will be able to work enough to support them selves and since the truck was flooded and  probably ruined they will be stuck there until they die. Since there was so much rain it will be rough farming that year, but the next season will be better, if the Joads can make it to the next farm season, they might make it.

3. We should remember the Joads, because they taught us that family is the most important thing, they also taught us that with hard work many things can be accomplished. If people today were as tough as the Joads, and as hard of workers we might not have suffered the "great recession" and i think that people today would be a lot better off if they stuck together like the joads.

  1. you made a good point when you said people today would be better off if they were as tough as the Joads. Not very many people are that tough, and barely any families are as strong as the the Joads. When people are in trouble, they just bail, rather than fighting through it

  2. I feel that your exploration is very negative towards the Joads and I feel that Tom will be a good leader of the people.

  3. I also agree about what the Joad Family taught us about family. More people should be like them. I thought it was interesting what you thought about Tom. I didn't even really think about what would become of him.

  4. i think that you made some interesting points, i do think that if people were like the joads today then they would be a lot better off, a lot of things today come very easy to most of us and there isnt much hard work that goes into it.

  5. Well, they don't die (that made me chuckle). In terms of sticking together, totally agree with you.
