Exploration 8

2.      The Joads will go through more obstacles in their life and some might be harder then others but they have gone through so much already. I believe that they will find peace in there lives soon for their future because of the amount of pain they have gone through as a family is what made them stronger. I see a bright future ahead for the Joads, they might have the whole family all back together as one big happy family as it was at one time.

3.    Their is many things I learned from this novel and the Joads were the ones who showed it, that's why I'll always remember them in The Grapes of Wrath. They showed us not giving up, hope for better, stick together as a family no matter what, and help people in need. The Joads no doubt about it went through a lot they lost everything, had no money and they were starving at times too. They never gave up though they kept working hard pushing their selves to the limit. We sometimes need to do that not give up when things get hard we got to push our selves more because that's the only way we can have a better and stronger America. People in The Grapes of Wrath didn't have much hope at sometimes but they kept trying and we should have better hope for our country and not let our future be a scary or bad place for the next generation. We all got to work together as the people did in the novel we should all watch each others back no matter what I think if we did that then we would all feel more closer as a country.

  1. I think that it is good that you see a bright future for the Joads, but I don't think their family will ever be the same. I definitely agree that they will be able to over come future challenges because they have already defeated so many already.

  2. I agree when you say that they will find peace someday. I think that they have been through so much that they will be able to appreciate any kind of blessing and be thankful. And I also believe that the family can somehow reunite someday, where Tom could rejoin the family unit. I think that the main thing I learned from this was to never give up and persist.

  3. Well said. You have summed up the essence of this novel, and what Steinbeck was trying to convey to the reader, very well. Never quit, always push forward, and motivate others to survive.

You also have a very optimistic view as to what will happen with the Joads.
