Hi, my name is Stefan Kutney and I attended Marysville High School just down State Route four from Marion.  Right now I am majoring in Pharmacy and the plan is to get at least an MD towards my goal.  I was the Section Leader of the Alto Saxophones at Marysville.  I also play the piano and accordion.  My goal after College is to start my own business manufacturing pharmaceuticals (Like Walter White -- but not really) and supplement the business with money from musical performances.  I want to be a Pharmacist because it would put me in a position to give advice to people, and I'd love that!
My favorite Buckeye is my mother Jody Kutney.  My mother is my favorite Buckeye because she's always supported me and did/does so much for our family.  One of the great things about my mom is the stories she tells us about the patients she scans at work (she's in charge of an Ultrasound Department at Wexner Medical Center in Columbus).  She can't tell us names because it's against policy to give confidential information, but she gives the the context -- away from names.  My mom has always been their for me, she means a great deal to me.

(This is me from 8th grade, I've had this picture as my Facebook profile picture since then - I've got other pictures but I haven't changed because I've had it like this so long, I don't want to waste that tradition).

  1. We are both doing Pharmacy. I am assuming that your main goal is to be a Pharmacist. What is it about pharmacy that made you want to go down that path?

  2. I think besides creating new medicines the advice I could potentially give people would make me happy. I've always sort of been the adviser of my friends, mostly because they get into trouble if I don't persuade them or advise correctly. So, to answer your question, it's the advice I could give and the ability to help others through new medicine.

  3. That is awesome that your mom is your favorite buckeye. I am majoring in nursing and become a nurse midwife, it is kind of like what your mom does but I don't do ultra sounds, I will be with the women all through their pregnancy.
